What keeps my faith in them when all others seemed to doubt them

Aku: Very good, X! I see you knew already the differences between possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns!

X: Thank you, Sir.

Aku: Ok, class. Now for your homework, Sir nak you all complete practice A and B. Practice A macam tadi, circle sama ada ayat tu nak possessive adjective or possessive pronouns. Beware of the forms and read the questions baik baik, ok? For Practice B, circle part mana yang salah, then tulis balik the correct sentence. I want your grammar books this Friday, Ok?

Students: Ok..

Aku: [getting ready to pack up my stuff and leave]

X: Sir, Thank you for everything. [Salam cium tangan]

Aku: Welcome, X.

Aku bangga dengan X.

Serius.

Dia gengster nak mampus dalam skolah aku dan sekarang dia masuk kelas aku semata mata nak belajar Grammar.

Grammar, ok. Antara topik paling foul nak mampus dalam English.

Nak faham instruction aku dulu lagi lah mencabar. Dulu semua kena bahasa melayu, tak boleh rojak. Sekarang dah boleh rojak.

Tak kisah la dia tak pernah submit satu pun exercise book kat aku. Aku tak expect pun dia akan hantar.

Macam mana nak hantar kalau habis sekolah je, dia dari Kelang kena pergi Shah Alam seksyen 13 utk kerja hari2 sampai pukul 11 malam?

Selalu untuk kelas tu, exercise semua buat dalam kelas, discuss dalam kelas.

Dulu dia raja ponteng. Dia sekarang dah datang kelas. It's a start. For him.

Sadly for me, it's nearly the ending.

Teaching is really challenging.

But when you have that one students whose life was changed for the better by your presence, you will kind of forget all the bullshit that comes along with teaching.

That's the time when you should hold on and believe in yourself, and push yourself harder and harder.

Because they believed in you.
